Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end public works projects from planning to completion
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county regulations
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments
- Prepare detailed project reports and documentation
- Lead stakeholder communication and public engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in public works or construction
- Valid Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proven track record managing infrastructure projects over $1M
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and procurement processes
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license
