Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead quantum security protocols resistant to 2048-bit encryption breaking
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Drive open-source contributions to Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with ethics board on quantum governance frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building quantum circuits with >99% fidelity
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and Rigetti Forest SDKs
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and Grover's optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Track record of leading quantum security projects
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, QML)
