Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum algorithm optimization
- Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of quantum systems
- Drive quantum hardware-software integration strategies
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for facility access
