Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum accelerators into cloud platforms
- Conduct research on topological qubits and quantum error correction protocols
- Architect security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum control electronics
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences (IEEE, APS, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in low-level quantum control electronics and cryogenic systems
- Strong background in parallel computing architectures and HPC optimization
- Experience with cloud quantum services (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance for government quantum initiatives (preferred)
