Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction protocols for practical quantum applications
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit stability and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization problems
- Create security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-level executives and external partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit technologies
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in distributed systems and parallel computing
