Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks for enterprise deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to prototype quantum algorithms
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography initiatives
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing interfaces for industrial applications
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE and ACM quantum computing conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic processors
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research grants
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD projects
