Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithm frameworks for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error mitigation protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Secure and manage $15M+ research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Partner with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy initiatives
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (2019-2023)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Strong track record in securing government research funding
- Experience mentoring post-quantum cryptography teams
