Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Conduct experiments on superconducting qubit systems and quantum error correction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum technologies
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware and software advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Proficiency in Python and low-level programming for quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems preferred
