Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for error correction and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python and low-level quantum control languages
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
