Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using our proprietary quantum annealing systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and corporate partnerships for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
