Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error-correction frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputers
- Pioneer novel quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure and manage $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental quantum projects
- Author whitepapers and patents on quantum cryptography applications
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of securing government or corporate quantum research grants
