Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm design and optimization for real-world applications in cryptography and material science
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times and gate fidelity
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise graduate-level quantum computing projects
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages like Q# or Qiskit
- Published record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) or quantum computing conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
