Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop error-correction protocols for next-generation quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with superconducting systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and cryptography divisions
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions and Nature Quantum Information
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience with IBM Q or Rigetti
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
