Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with academia and industry partners
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Secure patents for quantum-resistant encryption methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or cryptography
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
