Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Optimize quantum resource allocation across distributed computing networks
- Create predictive maintenance models for quantum hardware using machine learning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to advance quantum error correction techniques
- Document architectural blueprints and deployment specifications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and circuit optimization techniques
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government clearance
