Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns supporting national security initiatives
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for real-time federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings to senior federal stakeholders
- Ensure strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize federal data governance frameworks
- Present analytical findings to congressional committees and federal leadership through executive dashboards
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and analytical procedures for federal audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal or government data analysis with security clearance eligibility
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling techniques
- Advanced certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA)
- Experience with ETL processes and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
