Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools for state employees and the general public.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure within the state's secure environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state data security regulations, privacy policies, and IT standards.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in our centralized knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that improve agency efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance monitoring to prevent service outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or help desk roles.
- Strong proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with VPNs, firewalls, and cloud services (Azure or AWS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote client interaction.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if applicable).
