Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of public streets, parks, and facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery and trucks, including street sweepers, dump trucks, and backhoes.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control during winter months.
- Perform minor repairs to public infrastructure, fences, and signs.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and municipal regulations.
- Interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not always required for entry-level, depending on specific role, let's stick to Class C for general worker).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
