Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage using state-of-the-art imaging technology and hand-held detection devices.
- Patrol the secure areas of the airport to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to resolve security threats.
- Assist travelers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.
- Adhere to all TSA regulations, security directives, and standard operating procedures.
- Complete daily reports and maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language clearly.
- Ability to pass a background check and medical examination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as necessary.
- Must be willing to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
