Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items and potential threats.
- Operate X-ray and CT scanning equipment to identify security anomalies in high-resolution imagery.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Assist travelers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service during high-volume periods.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient screening environment.
- Undergo and maintain TSA screening certification and training requirements.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship (required).
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Transportation Security Clearance (background check).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties including lifting and bending.
- Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
