Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, social, and economic shifts
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 Innovation Roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging technologies for market readiness
- Author thought leadership content on transformative megatrends
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record developing 5+ year future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing convergence
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation conferences
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
