Responsibilities
- Lead Research & Development: Drive the core research agenda for AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) concepts targeted for deployment by 2026.
- Architecture Design: Design and prototype novel deep learning models and algorithms that push the boundaries of current NLP and Computer Vision capabilities.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Prototype Implementation: Translate theoretical papers into production-ready code using Python and modern ML frameworks.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Strategy) to align AI capabilities with business goals.
- Publication & Patents: Author high-impact research papers and secure patents for proprietary algorithms.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in research roles within top-tier tech companies or academic institutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).
- Research Background: Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or repositories.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in dynamic environments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
