Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Lead the strategic architectural planning for the Horizon Initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and emerging tech trends.
- System Design & Scalability: Architect complex, distributed systems capable of handling high-volume, low-latency transactions in a global market.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Technology Stack Governance: Evaluate and select emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum-ready algorithms, AI orchestration) and establish coding standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Crisis Management: Lead the technical response to system outages or architectural pivots, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
- Proven experience implementing AI/ML infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and system hardening.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
