Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records with meticulous attention to compliance and accuracy
- Process complex permit applications and regulatory documentation for development projects
- Coordinate with multiple city departments to ensure seamless information flow and policy alignment
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for city council meetings and public hearings
- Implement digital record-keeping systems to enhance operational efficiency and data security
- Provide exceptional constituent support through direct inquiries and digital service channels
- Lead process improvement initiatives for administrative workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal or government administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong understanding of North Carolina municipal regulations and procedures
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
