Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records with precision and confidentiality
- Process complex permits, licenses, and municipal documentation
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and public inquiries
- Prepare detailed administrative reports for city council meetings
- Implement and maintain digital record-keeping systems
- Train junior clerks on municipal procedures and compliance
- Assist in budget preparation and financial documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years municipal/government administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong knowledge of Kentucky municipal regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Ability to obtain Notary Public certification within 90 days
