Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, water systems, and drainage.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and city planners, to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and construction specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering professional growth within the department.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of California.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in municipal or civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
