Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate court docketing and case files in compliance with state regulations.
- Verify, index, and file legal documents, deeds, and civil records with the utmost precision.
- Interact professionally with attorneys, judges, and the general public to answer inquiries and provide information.
- Process financial transactions, including payments for copies and filing fees, using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive legal and personal data at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of daily court calendars and summons.
- Perform data entry and record archiving using our proprietary management software.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal studies is preferred.
- Proven experience in a clerical, administrative, or court-related role is a plus.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 45 WPM) and computer proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a professional and calm demeanor.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
