Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate court records, dockets, and case documentation using judicial management systems
- Process legal filings, warrants, and administrative documents with strict compliance protocols
- Provide in-person and virtual assistance to attorneys, litigants, and court personnel
- Coordinate courtroom logistics, including jury selection, scheduling, and evidence management
- Implement digital archiving solutions while preserving physical document integrity
- Train junior clerks on procedures and compliance standards
- Generate official court orders and transcripts with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of courthouse or legal administrative experience
- Proficiency with judicial software (e.g., Odyssey, CourtView) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep understanding of Oregon judicial procedures and legal terminology
- Ability to manage confidential information with HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Oregon Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
