Responsibilities
- Monitor federal networks for security breaches and cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on government systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with federal agencies to implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Prepare detailed threat intelligence reports for senior leadership
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and compliance protocols

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with federal/government systems
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, FISMA)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain immediately
