Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and compliance frameworks.
- Respond to and mitigate security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into software development.
- Perform regular security audits and risk analysis for government infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security standards (NIST, ISO).
- Experience with government security clearance processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
