Responsibilities

- Visualizations: Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Data Governance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data sets through rigorous quality control processes and adherence to state regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineers, planners, and management to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to forecast traffic patterns and infrastructure needs.
- Documentation: Produce clear, concise technical documentation and standard operating procedures for data processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; strong knowledge of Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Demonstrated expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal data reporting standards is a plus.
