Responsibilities
- Process complex driver's license and vehicle registration transactions with 99% accuracy
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding Ohio BMV regulations and procedures
- Train junior representatives on DMV systems and compliance protocols
- Manage high-volume customer interactions while maintaining service excellence
- Process commercial vehicle permits and specialized registrations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for compliance documentation
- Maintain detailed transaction records in state database systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' customer service experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency with DMV systems (e.g., DRIVE, FAST) or equivalent
- Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass federal background check and fingerprinting
- Exceptional conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Knowledge of Ohio Revised Title 45 (Vehicle Code)
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
- Associate degree in public administration or related field
