Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statewide environmental policies aligned with Florida's conservation goals
- Analyze complex regulatory frameworks and recommend actionable policy solutions
- Liaise with federal agencies, local governments, and stakeholders on environmental compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute environmental sustainability programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for legislative leadership
- Monitor emerging environmental trends and assess their impact on Florida
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy development experience in government or regulated sector
- Expert knowledge of Florida's environmental regulations (Chapter 373, F.S.)
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and policy impact modeling
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder environmental projects
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel statewide
