Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce environmental compliance programs for industrial facilities in North Texas
- Conduct site inspections and investigations to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations
- Analyze environmental data and prepare detailed technical reports for regulatory decisions
- Provide expert guidance to businesses on pollution prevention and sustainable practices
- Coordinate with local agencies and stakeholders on environmental initiatives
- Represent TCEQ at public hearings and community outreach events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory compliance experience
- Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) certification
- Advanced knowledge of EPA and TCEQ regulations (Title V, Clean Air Act)
- Strong data analysis and report writing capabilities
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience with GIS mapping and environmental modeling software
