Role Overview
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of federal regulations and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for managing the daily logistics of a high-volume office while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, supply procurement, and workflow optimization.
- Prepare, review, and edit complex correspondence, memoranda, and official government documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and event planning for senior executives and visiting dignitaries.
- Manage confidential personnel files, timecards, and leave requests in compliance with federal HR policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including other agencies, vendors, and the public.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and office conduct standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a national of the United States.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience.
- Federal Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working within a federal or government environment is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and federal case management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
