Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and organization of federal records, ensuring full compliance with the Federal Records Act and OMB guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inter-agency communications, drafting correspondence, memos, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements and itineraries for federal officials, including domestic and international travel.
- Prepare and process personnel actions, including timecards, leave requests, and official personnel folders in accordance with OPM regulations.
- Conduct audits of administrative processes to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain the agency's compliance tracking system (CTS) and ensure all documentation is current and accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for congressional oversight committees and executive leadership reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or state government administration, with a proven track record of compliance management.
- Deep knowledge of federal regulations, including the FAIM Act, FAMA, and the Privacy Act of 1974.
- Proficiency in government-specific software such as eOPF, JPAS, and Defense Travel System (if applicable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and professional correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
