Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OMB) across Boston-area facilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments for healthcare and administrative programs
- Develop/implement corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory interpretations and policy updates
- Train staff on federal compliance protocols and best practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal oversight bodies
- Lead cross-departmental compliance initiatives under tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, Healthcare Compliance, or related field
- 5+ years federal compliance experience (VA/DOD/DoJ preferred)
- Active Federal Security Clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expert knowledge of VA regulations, HIPAA, and OMB Circulars
- Experience conducting compliance audits in healthcare or benefits programs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Ability to work in high-pressure, mission-critical environments
- US Citizenship required
