Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from proposal to closeout, ensuring strict adherence to federal regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Prepare and review complex contract documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW) and pricing schedules, for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with federal clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Monitor contract performance metrics and generate detailed performance reports for the program management team and oversight agencies.
- Maintain organized and secure digital and physical filing systems for all sensitive federal contract records.
- Conduct regular audits of contract deliverables to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, specifically within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Strong working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and OPM guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred for data analysis.
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory language.
