Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts from proposal and award through closeout, ensuring adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Prepare and review contract modifications, change orders, and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with government stakeholders, program managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and foster strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting in compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in federal contract management, government contracting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance is required.
