Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for strategic decision-making
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, NISPOM)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience in federal or regulated environments
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data security protocols and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle ambiguous datasets
- Active security clearance or eligibility for Top Secret clearance
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is highly desirable
