Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop complex data models and statistical analyses to support agency mission objectives.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security standards (NIST, FedRAMP) and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement robust data governance policies.
- Document data processes, prepare technical reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or defense sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
