Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) for stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, OMB guidelines).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Conduct statistical modeling and predictive analysis to forecast future outcomes and mitigate risks.
- Create detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures for data processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, concise formats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
