Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets from various federal sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design and maintain complex data models and databases to support federal reporting requirements.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security compliance in accordance with federal standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop analytical solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings for senior leadership and government clients.
- Perform statistical analysis to forecast outcomes and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation; experience with Python or R is highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Must possess an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy laws and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
