Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Extract, clean, and model large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and SAS to support agency objectives.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) and comprehensive reports to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all data analysis adheres to strict federal regulations, NIST standards, and FedRAMP compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with policy makers and program managers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data collection processes and implement solutions to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a defense contractor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar scripting languages; experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher is required.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
