Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from federal and internal sources to ensure data integrity for reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to support policy-making and strategic decision-making processes.
- Create comprehensive reports and briefings for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy of data presentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and implement solutions for data collection improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal contract work; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
