Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal information systems and network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with federal standards, including NIST, FISMA, and DFARS regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate cyber threats and system outages.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and federal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and incident reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or civilian IT support.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, encryption protocols, and network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to federal sites as required.
