Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal IT systems and networks to support agency operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate new cloud technologies.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide technical training to junior staff members.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical reports and compliance documentation to federal oversight bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state-level IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CISSP).
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, including FISMA and FedRAMP compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
