Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, ensuring 99.99% uptime and system availability.
- Implement and enforce federal security protocols, including FISMA compliance and NIST guidelines.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for network hardware, servers, and end-user devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate new cloud solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, configurations management, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Certifications: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one); CompTIA Security+ or CISSP preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL databases, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership and non-technical staff.
