Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization environments, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure).
- Compliance & Security: Ensure strict adherence to NIST security standards, FISMA regulations, and agency security protocols.
- Incident Management: Monitor system health and respond to critical incidents with minimal downtime for federal clients.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, providing clear and concise reports to non-technical leadership.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and change management logs.
- Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migration projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT systems analysis or systems administration.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong working knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure government cloud environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal/written communication skills.
