Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure) for Federal and State government contracts.
- Ensure strict adherence to FISMA, FAR, and agency-specific compliance standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, technical staff, and government clients.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive status reports, executive summaries, and contract deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing Federal, State, or Local government contracts.
- Proven experience with FISMA compliance and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex system architectures.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent Project Management certification is highly desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance.
